Hi all!! We are still here but we have been off the ship on an overland safari so have not had access to the internet so I am a bit behind with my blog but will try to catch it up over the next 2 sea days enroute to St Helena. We have been told by some seasoned world cruisers that 9 out of 10 cruises can’t stop at St Helena due to the swell at the dock so it we will have to wait and see. I know some are having withdrawal symptoms but I promise to post more today! It is now 7.55am on Saturday the 14th April and I have just finished breakfast in our cabin… yoghurt and prunes and a cuppa. We had a really good sleep last night as we were pretty zonked from trooping all around Africa for the last 4 days. The bed on board is very comfortable. It is king size with two singles zippered together which means you don’t feel any movement when the other turns over. We were lulled to sleep by the very gentle rocking of the ship which really feels like home now. A we were having our sailaway (from Walvis Bay) drink on our balcony Peter commented that we are now in the last two weeks of our seven week cruise!! The time has just flown by. More to come…
